Project Overview
Kohsar Rice Mill have a rice husking unit with a capacity of 5 tons / hour and have added Reprocessing Unit (Silky Polisher) with the help of BMR Scheme. This Reprocessing Unit consist of local as well as Chinese machinery. The equipment and machinery are installed and the mill is operational.
SEDF’s Assistance
SEDF provided credit assistance of Rs. 10 Million to Kohsar Rice Mill and with the addition of the Silky Polisher, the plant is operational round the year and has been effective in lessening the proportion of broken rice, which has brought about increased income (more than 16- 17%).
